Reviews – Oklahoma!
This production [of Oklahoma!] had some very strong musical talent that was highlighted by the two lead characters. “Laurey” played by Catherine Skojec and “Curly” played by Taylor Eliason were outstanding. Not only are they musically gifted, but their acting skills created the necessary chemistry to tell a love story like this.”

Taylor Eliason and Catherine Skojec lead the way as Curly and Laurey… Eliason brings a joy to Curly that has you rooting for him as soon as his melodious voice sounds from the back of the theater. They have a great chemistry, which weaves tension into every tease and kiss. “People Will Say We’re in Love” is truly a sigh-able moment.”

Taylor Eliason is a warm and sympathetic Curly even when he’s attempting to convince Jud to commit suicide.”

Taylor Eliason was energetic and fun as Buddy Foster. I enjoyed how the character yearned for fame and a big break in show business, and his duet “More Than We Bargained For” with Arteaga was well executed. Eliason was also excellent at portraying the emotional dilemma that his character had of falling in love with a woman that he could never have for himself.”
[Patterson] seemed entirely fearless … I’m sure that part of that confidence came from working with Taylor Eliason and Andrea Jakeman, who played Amelia’s parents. Eliason, Jakeman, and Patterson had a great relationship on stage that seemed entirely natural; I was able to really feel a connection between them.”
… these two actors [brought] every inch of realism [to] their performances…The joys [and] the heartbreaking sadness as they “aged” from young love to old age and beyond. My son asked [Eliason] how he brought so much to his character, who experiences tragic loss. [Eliason] said he watched his mother lose a child and took that feeling and used it in his character development. Both actors were flawless.”
Our teenager, who is a theater nut… was dying for a break from hiking, biking, rafting and animal sighting and the Jackson Hole Playhouse, with it’s current summer show of GREASE… fit the bill!! The show was new, exciting and so-o full of energy!
